2024 Paving Plan Community Meeting

The Town of Loxahatchee Groves currently has its 2024 Paving Plan advertised for bid with plans to award a contract by this May or June. The proposed paving plan was approved by the Town Council as a part of the budget process in September of 2023. For your convenience, the roads that the Town hopes to pave this year include those listed below.   7 | 24th Court N, North of Okeechobee Blvd, West of F Road

  8 | 24th Court N, North of Okeechobee Blvd, East of F Road

  9 | 147th Avenue North

  10 | West D Road, North of Southern Blvd, West of D Road

  11 | Casey Road, East of F Road, West of Folsom Road

  12 | B Road from existing pavement stop to North Road

  13 | North Road from B Road to C Road

At this time, our crews are preparing the roads and repairing the drainage in anticipation of the paving. The prep work includes the removal of nonnative and invasive tree species, as well as other trees that can or do impact the traffic way. The town’s staff is also rebuilding and improving the road surface to make it suitable for paving, and in addition where applicable, they are clearing and reshaping drainage swales to improve drainage.

Should you have questions regarding the project, the Town has scheduled a meeting in Town Hall on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 4:00PM to 6:00PM. Members of the Town’s staff will be in attendance and be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
